Block Talk is in Full Swing!

Maura and I are having so much fun getting together for a much needed laugh and some quilt talk every week. Often hilarious, sometimes pitiful, the goal is to have a conversation about a quilt block each week.

Currently we’re having a weekly discussion about that week’s block in the Sewcialites 3 Quilt Along. We discuss difficulties we had while making the block, how long it takes us to make, and any tips we have to offer along the way.

We are engaged in a friendly competition where each week whoever makes the block the fastest gets a point, and whoever has fewest seam rips gets a point. At the time of writing this post Maura is ahead 7-3. She is very fast! I may be too picky lol.
